Spotlight on Andover Dog KRICKET
Name: Kricket
Breed: Siberian Husky/Keeshond Mix
Age: 9 months as of June 2010
Owner: Roberta Ryan
Favorites: Kricket loves food, and consequently counter surfing. Her favorite toy is any blanket that she can shred to pieces, but any chew toy will do. If she had her wish, she would run from dawn to dusk.
Kricket is as sweet as can be, but a very nervous dog. Though the largest dog in the pack, she is obviously the lowest ranking. You can often find her with her ears pulled back and complaining. Her green collar contributed to her name, as well as her tendency to jump. Kricket likes to know what’s going on, who’s where and want’s to be in the middle of all of the action. She loves to snuggle but also making her presence known. Her voice ranges from the lowest of lows to the highest of highs, and she isn’t afraid to use it. Kricket has completed several classes at On The Run Canine Center and hopes to graduate from several more. One day she hopes to pass her Canine Good Citizen test, becoming a therapy dog. Agility trials are also on her horizon. Kricket is the most intelligent of all the dogs and will quickly complete a task when bribed with food. Her wolfish features make her a showstopper.
